Senior attorney Robert Diamond founded the firm in 1956. In 1972, we became one of the first law firms in the state to focus our practice areas exclusively on family law and on domestic partnership law for the gay and lesbian community. In 1986, Richard S. Diamond joined the firm to become managing director.

Diamond & Diamond, P.A., is proud that its senior partner is a Certified Matrimonial Trial Lawyer by the New Jersey Supreme Court. He is also a Certified Divorce Mediator, and an Economic Mediator appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as part of its pilot program on economic mediation in divorce matters. Our attorneys are also members of the Early Settlement Panel program for Union and Essex County, New Jersey.
